Lord my soul is dry and weary
breath life back into these dry bones
fill my soul with living water
for your heart is what i'm longing for
search my heart o Lord and bring to light the wickedness within
break my heart o Lord and bring me to repentance for my sins
take my heart o Lord and bring my selfish dreams and ambitions to the ground
change my heart o Lord and bring me to a place where in your truth i am found
fill my heart o Lord and bring life back into these weary bones that wane
use my heart o Lord and bring back the lost for the glory of your beautiful Name
for your heart is what i seek
your heart is what i hunger for
your heart is what i need
your heart is what i'm yearning for
i will seek you in brokeness, my spirit is made low
because you make the low places high and the high places low
repentance, repentance, is what the world needs to know
not health or wealth or faithless faith which are all just for show
so bring back truth to the pulpit, your gospel to this nation
and restore unto us the joy and truth of your wonderful salvation
let the anthem be raised from the lips of true believers
those that have been filled by the Spirit and not just deceivers
for faith leads to repentance, and repentance to salvation
and any other gospel of health, wealth, and faithless faith brings only damnation
from salvation comes the overflow to worship and obey
so come Lord Holy Spirit and sweep through this nation today
