hungry but no appetite
willingness but no desire
full of thoughts yet empty in vision
crying but no tears to shed
desperate yet complacent
seeing the end but no beginning
awake yet stuck in a dream
sympathy for apathy
hopelessly seeking hope
and a silent war violently rages on
and i see a light shining in the darkness
a moment of calrity admist the confusion
calm before the storm or storm before the calm i ask
but,
His Love is greater
greater than the hunger
greater than the desire
greater than the thoughts
greater than the feelings
the author and perfecter of my faith
is the beginning and the end
is more real than life itself
understands my shortcomings
the source of hope
my God
my King
my Savior and Redeemer
my Rock and Firm Foundation
i will forever praise you
i will forever seek you
i will forever serve you
and forever love you
even when the feelings fade
